Throttle Cable Adjustment.... Help

I have a DRZ 400 and not sure how the second (throttle return)cable should be adjusted at the throttle wheel. Should their be no play in the cable before the throttle is twisted, or should their be alittle play? Does the "return" cable affect the "pull" cable as far as the adjustment goes?

Hey,
I know it is a pain, but just make sure the throttle snaps fully closed when released and that there is just a tad of slack before the throttle opens. Check your slack with the bars turned fully in both directions, and make sure it doesn't try to pull or anything. Good luck.
