I am thinking about getting a new TM 250 . What have you TM owners experienced with parts availability? Does the US distributor(TWS) provide support ?

99 Tm parts

all the plastic on the bike is KX250, 94-98. air filter 88 CR on up will work.
Pipe for my bike 92-96 CR250. I think for your probably a Yamaha 2001
250 pipe. Revalves boyesen reeds will fit. Brake pads KTM I believe,
other than that I haven't had t buy any internal parts yet.
Good running bike, have fun.

Parts availability has been no problem whatsoever, and the TM seems to require fewer parts replacements than other like bikes. Any part I've needed on Monday, I've had by Friday (my closest dealer is ~100 miles away). Most parts on the newer TMs are TM specific. I see you are from NJ and I assume will get your bike from Town& Country Cycles, I have even ordered parts from them (note, I'm in Washington State). TWS is quite supportive of TM bikes.

Thanks for the info, I am glad to hear that TM has good support here in the USA. Past experiences with Euro bikes have made me appreciate the importance of a reputable and dependable support system.

Kevkon,

I live in NJ withen 25 minutes of T&C and go there weekly. Top notch support for the Euro bikes, with most parts in stock. Good Luck.
