I'm about to buy 1990 KDX200 E2. It's very rare bike in Russia, but i'm longing for the two strokes.
Could you give me a couple of tips?
1. The one i've seen yesterday has a black seat, isn't it strange?
2. The engine sounds like a loud bell. It's something besides the normal 2 stroke sound. What could it be? Owner says that it's not a cylinder-piston group problem, because the sound has not disappeared after the engine rebuild. He supposes it's somewhere in gearbox or clutch or their connection. However, he says that was not a big problem for five years.
Or could it be a special feature of this engine?
So, can you advise me to buy that instance? Or should i try to find another one?
