Hey, I have a 1997 yz250 and the cylinder coating has worn of I took it to serco and they said they can bore it out ans put a steel sleeve in it. I took it to a performance shop and they said that i should get it coated at a place called Electrosil.Which one would be better? Also whats a better piston wisco or pro-x.

Plate the cylinder, the cost will be similar, but it will be far more durable. The only advantage to a steel sleeve is it can be bored and then run without needing plating.

I haven't run Pro-X, but Wiseco makes good pistons.

re-coat it
either piston will do fine (stock is best durability though)
