TTR250 Exhaust

How much of a performance gain is aftermarket exhaust over the stock unit with the baffle removed? Do you really feel the difference? Any suggestions on which one? How much does the stock unit weigh? I am trying to decide if it is worth the money. I am a serious trail rider not a racer.

Well I have absolutely no method of quantifying the results but my seat of the pants feeling when I replaced mine was WOW. I went with a White Bros E-Series. I think PatMan has heard good things about a couple of others. Try a search on TTR250 and see what you find, there was another thread just a few weeks ago. Definitely worth it to me.

mpsuda: I had a 2000 TTR 250 and went with the Stroker exhaust and it made a HUGE difference.

I also have had a big increase in performance by replacing the stock exhaust system. My pipe is a Big Gun. Another friend with a TTR has a different aftermarket system and it has had a nice performance increase.
