Ok Mike - Put me down for 1 positively absolutely going and wanting to stay in the 'group' home. I am committed, or need to be, or well you know.

Definitely need a head count/dollar amount - I could mail you $$ but by the time we get it figured out and it gets to you via snail mail, we'll already be there. Let me know how you want to handle it.

So we all agree on the same place? That NEVER happens. I'm a lock too.

I can FredEx some $$ to you if it'll help. Just say when, where, and how.

Do MX bikes work well at LBL?

I aint looking for money up front just want to make SURE evereyone that says they're comitted ARE committed. I figure we will fit as many people in as we can and just split it. I can just put it on the card and pay for it in December.

Eddie ... Aimee not going?

JP you'll do fine on that YZF. Lots of open trails and a few challenging hill climbs.

WheelieB, CAL, IrishKU, MADisher anyone else interested in staying in the comitted group home?

Jcramin, Patrick and I also are MMC members and will be leaving out of Memphis if you want to go.

Timr, Lemming, KelvinKDX, Dhoward, Sarge, Come on now you KNOW you want to go.

Thanks for the offer Mike, but I'll be staying in Clarksville where the Zinger is stabled. It's only a 45 min or so from LBL.

Mike, most of those should be fine. Moors is about 20-30 minutes from TB. I live about 15 minutes from Moors Camp Road. I drive right by it on the way to TB. Lighthouse Landing will be one of the farthest from TB of your choices. But the cottages are only a couple of years old. (My dad actually did the plumbing contracting for those cottages.) The Moon Bay Harbor Resort is definately too far away. Cozy Cove is about 10 minutes from TB. If you were to stay at Lighthouse Landing, you would have a straight (scenic) shot to Turkey Bay. They are both located on the Trace. The Trace is a road that runs completely through LBL from North to South. It would probably take a solid 30 minutes, but is very scenic and twisty.

The lakefront log home was the one I emailed yesterday. I never have received a reply, and I can't find a phone # anywhere.

Thanks for the offer to stay, but my own bed will be calling me. Hogwylde was planning on staying at my house. You may want to contact him and see if he is interested in the rental. If Eddie is cooking breakfast, I may stop by and grab some. ;)

JP, MX bikes will do fine. Out of all of our little riding clique, only one rides a "woods" bike.

Eddie ..Bring Aimee on down. She can have dinner ready for us when we get back ... :p .

CAL, Irish ... I understand ... Nothing like a familiar bed.

If the log house dont come thru then you say lighthouse point or cozy cove is the next best bet?

How about Moors ? Is this place OK?

So far its just me TTRGuy, Pleaser, Patrick. Any other takers?

Eddie, I did send an email to Timr's work address earlier today Also sent JP an email and ask him to contact both Timr and Lemming. Anyone else you can think of that might be in interested, send them a PM and tell them to "come on down".

Boy Mike...Aimee is gonna getcha!

Moors Resort is fine. And any of the houses around Moors. Mapquest shows 21 miles from Turkey Bay.

Cozy Cove is the closest to TB.

Lighthouse Landing will have the straightest route (but longest) to Turkey Bay. Turn right out of Lighthouse Landing's parking lot and drive until you come to Turkey Bay. Mapquest show about 24 miles from Turkey Bay.

I've never been to Cozy Cove, but that would be my choice, just because it is so close to TB. And TB is very easy to find from Cozy Cove. Mapquest shows about 14 miles from Cozy Cove Resort to Turkey Bay.

Eddie has been to Turkey Bay. He may not know it, but he drove right past Moors and Cozy Cove.

I am TERRRIBLE about reading email at home after sitting behind a computer all day. So to answer your question .. No I havent. We went riding Sunday at Holly Springs BUT you really shoould be glad you dint go. A buddy BURIED his CR250 in a mudhole and we spent 2 hrs diggin him out and finally had to go and find a fellow on a 4 wheelre to pull him out. We were all soaking wet. 3hour ride and 9 total miles. 4.5 to the mud and 4.5 back to the truck.

No way you can get off for Friday and go up with us early?

To keep this short, these directions are from Paris TN. There are several ways to get to Paris from Memphis (Hwy 79 all the way OR I40 to Exit 126 then norht on 641 to Paris). Take 79 East out of Paris and cross the Tennessee river. Go Approx 8 Miles and you will see the typical big brown sign that says Land Between the lakes. This is Natchez parkway, Turn Left (North) and it is approx 20 miles to the Turkey Bay ORV area. The turn in is on the left and the guard shack is on your left.

Send me your Phone # and I will be glad to call you and we can talk about it more. That 500 would be right at home in those hills.

Eddie that is GREAT news that Aimee is thinking about coming up. I hope she does and BTW I was just kidding about her having dinner ready. Patrick and I are leaving Friday morning and would like to do some riding Friday if possible. If you guys want to get there early and ride some then that is great and if not we can meet at the house/cabin.

Thanks Ed. On the first map--> Lighthouse landing is in Grand Rivers on 453 (the Trace). The dot for Grand Rivers is exactly where Lighthouse is located. Cozy Cove is North-West of Jonathan Creek on 68. The Moors is farther North-West on 68.

Anyway, I'm sure I sent it in an email to you -

I'm supposed to have a couple brewskies with Lemming Thursday night. I'll hit him with it at beer-thirty.

I have a folding cot and a sleeping bag if things get crowded.

OK, here is the list of people I know of as of right now. Hopefully we'll get some confirmations from the iffy people and the people who haven't responded.

<New list, later in thread>

I haven't heard from Tenn. Thumper, Darby,...any others? What about KYKTM and his big crew?
