I just got an email from the KY lake log home. They said they can't accomodate you all this weekend. :( They did tell me that my cousin did the foundation for the cabin. :silly:

Fish camp here we come!

What about the MO gang? Nobody from Team NTAC wants to participate? It's only 3-4 hours away.

The KC gang is about 8-9 hours away. They're too chicken to come ride with us anyway. :p Maybe some of the Chadwick group? That's only about 6 hours away. We drove to Chadwick to ride for one day this spring.

Lou has known about the ride longer than anyone. Unless he has changed his mind, he's out. :(

Corey,
I am keeping my fingers crossed, he has expressed an intrest in riding at LBL, all I can do is tell him and pray. :(
The question at hand is are you and I going to finally ride? :) It's been a long time coming!
I can't wait to meet you all and finally get some input on a little something I am cooking up just for LBL. It's a special place and I want to have a little something for the folks that make it there. I cut my teeth for the second time after ten years and love the place, although I could do without the widening of a few trails, it beats the hell out of Livingston for a riding area.

Looking forward to a great ride with everyone!

My people to meet list!

That's a good question. It sure seems like someone is trying pretty hard to keep it from happening. We've tried, what, about 5 times now? Hopefully everything will work out with this ride. It looks like it is going to be a doozie!! :aj:

We were close the last time, but the weather had it in for us, that didn't stop me :)

At least we played phone tag! I got your number now though big guy! :p

As for a doozie, I think this is going to be an LBL first! Aside from the 2 other guys I'm hopping that will be able to come(Mission's take place over riding) we are talking about 20+ members from DRN! This is going to be AWESOME! I don't know about what the poor guys at the shack are going to think but I know the folks out on the trails will be thinking "What the Hell is going on?" hearing all those bikes thundering along. Your's, YZ400guy's and JP's 250F along with a heard of 2 smokes! :)

This will be a weekend to remember!

Hey CAL, Which place would you recommend Moors or Cozy Bay. Moors seems to have more cabin choices at a better price but Cozy Bay is closer. I dont want to stay in a dump if you know what I mean.

Pleaser and Eddie take a look at both and let me know which cabin # yall prefer.

#26 looks pretty good we can all have seperate (small) bedrooms. $139
#23 would work but bedrooms would be shared. Fireplace $115
#22 would work but bedrooms would be shared $115
#24 3 BR one would be shared $143
I am open on this so let me know what you think.

Several to choose from BUT more $$'s

Let me know boys, Time is running short.

Whatever you decide or can get secured for housing is fine with me. The ones with 4 bedrooms seem more practical but i'll sleep on the floor if I have to so I say just get whatever you can.

Don't forget, the camping at LBL is free that weekend, in case the room deals don't work out. I stayed in Aurora at one of the motels once. It was OK, but nothing fancy. The water was hot and the heater worked. That was enough for us. I'm hoping to get a couple people over that weekend and camp out. See you guys then.

Lou and I are tentatively heading out next Friday morning (I think). We plan to be there around 12:00 and ride some that afternoon. Whenever we get the plans for digs all finalized we need to figure out who will be there, who can get a key etc.

Man, our internet has been down today. Sorry for not getting to this quicker.

Mike, Moors definately has more traffic and is a much bigger resort than Cozy Cove. I would think that Moors would be a little nicer. That's a guess though. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Just depends on if you want a 30 minute drive or a 15 minute drive.

Lou is coming to KY!! :aj:
Promise me you'll show us the proper form in the helmet toss, Lou. ;)

A guy I work with, used to work at Moors. He said the cabins have been remodeled recently. They should be good to go!

Aww Hell, here is the "proverbial" wrench in the works for me. My bike isn't running. Last time I looked the plug is covered with GRAY crap. Yup time for crank seals I just got comfirmation..... I will buy a couple or 3 plugs and see if I can get her started, just in case,

I have called a friend with a 02 WR250 that will be in the feild when we ride but he is overley protective about his machines when it comes to others. I can understand even with the "You break it you Buy it" clause installed. I haven't heard back yet but I want to hedge the bet so to speak.

If that doesn't work out;

Can anyone bring an extra ride? The "You Break it You Buy it clause applies."

Thanks to all!

Hey guys, if there’s room for me, there’s a possibility I may come to hang out. Probably won’t ride but would like to see you guys and bs. I don’t want to take Friday off because I’m saving time off for Reno in Feb. but since Eddie and Lou will be traveling together I may have Eddie’s truck to come up either after work on Friday night or Sat. morning.
Don’t be expecting any home cooked meals though! ;)

Hey, what ever happened to these places?

Now that’s what I’m talking about. It will be just like one big slumber party. We can do each others nails and everything, but if JP falls asleep first I’m putting his bra in the freezer. :p
