urgent case splitting!!

i have my kdx 250 engine on the bench at work and everythying is stripped off it, except the magneto. how on earth do you split the cases apart. i have done a search and nothing pops up. help

I believe you need some kind of pully (special tool) don't quote me though as I have never done it my self.

if it is like the 200 yes you need a puller after you get the flywheel off

yea man u gotta have a flywheel puller i have one theres bolts underneath the flywheel most likely too that hold the cases togeather.its about 18.00 make shure it goes on straight or it can get messed up quick also make shure its all the way seated.clean threads if nessecary
