v-force 2 verses v-force 3

I have a 1994 KDX 200 with V-force 2 Reed System, FMF-fatty Pipe, FMF Turbincore Silencer, etc. and was wondering if there is any noticible performance difference between the V-force 2 and 3 system, to justify spending the big bucks? I love what the V-force 2 did for throttle response and overall performance. Thanks in advance. :ride:

According to Planet Sand Forums: v-force 2's vs. v-force 3's:

We have run the 2's and the 3's on the dyno, and the 3 put out a couple less hp then the 2's

Another individual stated: they run well, about 1-2 more hp then the 2's and are better by design. I've talked to a couple builders about 'em who said they are working really well. (Redline, Ripps Powersports, Ohton).

a Third person said: I have the delta three's. they use the same size pedal on the inside as the outside.The two's run smaller pedals in the inside.The delta three don't run any screws on them, the pedals snap in place and held with an insert. One draw back is the hole in th insert is set up for stock intakes.
All you have to do is put your intakes up to them mark them and file or die grind them to match. I called delta v force about this and they do it so you get maxium flow for your set up.
people claim 1 second faster times with the three's
The throttle response is wicked, I love my set.

I have no experience with the vforce on the Kdx but on snowmobiles I was told that the vforce 3's were released to reduce the reed pedal breakage. The vforce 2's put out more power but the pedals are prone to breaking.

Yes I know. I searched by user=canyncarvr *and* various keywords.

I guess you need keyword="deltaforceIII" to pick it up, "delta" or "deltaforce" didn't trip the search. Can't complain tho as it's way more useful than say the AdvRider search.

dont know bout the 2's but the three's have completely changed the way my bike runs. it's a beast now and i love it!

Response is far superior to stock & is better than the Power Reeds. Note Power Reeds were also superior to the stockers. You will not be disappointed :cool:
Now do the RB Designs Carb & Head Mod and your KDX will be a SMOKING RIDE :nod:
