CJ Rider, I noticed you're in Woodland Park, I lived in Deckers for many years, and went to WPHS. Do you ride up that Way(Sprucewood, Top of the World etc)?

Well, the Top of the World trail is closed now as well as Hackett's Gulch due to fire and erosion, but we still ride 717A and Rainbow Falls all the way up to the Sprucewood and Bear Creek! Then we have lunch at the Sprucewood and tease the lady about not having fries on the menu; LOL! I live about four blocks from WPHS; your old stomping ground, eh? Cool!

Small world, I used to ride the back trail to Rainbow Falls, ice race on the lake, then ride home. Good memories. I was planning a trip up with my kids last summer until the fires burned everything up. I still have family up there, a good excuse for a riding vacation. Maybe I'll see you at the moonrocks.

I did not know the words "fast" and "Strick" could go together in the same sentence. JK. I have been busy with trying to graduate but am chomping at the bit to go riding. Looking for a new bike....got rid of blue thunder "sniff" "sniff". I WILL have a bike by february hopefully january. I will be there though; wouldn't miss it for the world. If I get my bike sooner, I will give you a holler and see if I can keep up with you.
I am looking forward to seeing all you guys again. Sir and Lil thumper I am glad you are gonna make it this year. Oh and FC22....speed limits are there for a reason. ;)

Bobby, I can't believe how many 426's there are in the paper. Should I get one and hold it for you?

Hey, and Merry Christmas to you and all the Spodefesters.

I figure the extra 26cc will help you keep up (for a while)

Yeah Bobby is slooowwww.......Not! I still remember the start of the first advanced loop last year. We pull out of the parking area at Mach 1. Im thinking to myself that I lined up at the wrong gate. Come to find out our guide bobby thought we were all super fast, so he is hauling arse big time because we are all breathing down his neck and in reality most of us were riding better than race pace just trying to keep up with the lead rider......... I did feel better to learn that pretty much everyone thought it was a drag race that first couple miles......

Hey 380, Yeah, when Strick asked me to lead the FAST group, I new you were in that group and had to put my little 400 to the test. There are some amazingly fast guys/girls that come to Reno with some fast bikes; I wanted to let them be able to open them up for a bit.
Yeah thanks Strick, I will let you know. I came upon a quad (250r) that I am working with so I will have to get back to you on that. sshhh do not tell anyone, but I am condsidering a ktm. I just don't know. Hey please email me with your address so I can write you.
Merry -mas every one!

Did you just say quad?

Aaaahhhh, Bobby on an orange bike. You must want white (MRANN) backgrounds.

Yes I said quad, it is not mine. My brothers. But he does not ride it and said I could have it. I am using it to sell or trade.
I do not know about white plates....I was thinking more like black. I really do not like the yellow ones. You should have yellow ones with the number one on them by now right? I know that the last time I rode with you I couldn't keep up. So you must have been sandbagging.
But seriously. I want to go riding with you and refresh my memory on some of the trails you have planned.
And...any of you who are still not decided on coming out to reno, you will be missing a great ride. Last year the dirt was so perfect and the people so much fun. I can not wait to see everyone's back fenders again. See ya here.

Bobby - Mimi wants a quad to ride from the pits to the starting line at the MRANN races. Let me know what you've got I might be interested.

I promise I won't let her ride it any other time. My youngest daughter might though.

Hey Strick, it is a honda 250r, a 1988. It is way fast though, it might be a bit much. PM me and if you want to see it I can bring it into town. but it has a kickstarter (forward kick), clutch and literally screams. It has toasted a few banshees around here so I am not sure that is what she wants. But we do have a wolverine that if she wants to borrow she can. It is way fun and a blast to drive.
Still undecided on what bike to get though. I need help! Any suggestions. From anybody...and no Lori, no pink cr500s.

Hojo! good to hear from you again. Rumor has it that you bought a single wide and 500 acres of beach front property at Lahonton! Locate a scooter soon and lets hit some single track. What about the XR250 we were going to enter in the night race? Its better than nothing.

Hey there Scoob. No not in silver springs, but maybe here in ferndale. And about the 250...after the last disaster I do not like to ask him for it. The part took forever to get here and then it was the wrong one. So I avoid using it. I am looking into some bikes right now, still not sure but i have my eye on a ????? Hmmm, I guess it is gonna be a surpise. I am sure you will be surprised. I will get a hold of you and strick and we can blaze the moonrock trails. Especially the goat trail.

P.S. Don't look now but I think your roof is blowing away

Hey Bobby and George!, yeah I'm looking forward to the ride this year, it's going to be fun.  I sold the hopped up 400 I had and was real sad for the next 2 days untill the dealer called and told be to come pick up my new YZ450F.   If you really liked your 400 you should ride the new 450, it's light and very fast. :thumb:
