Want bigger bike

i've had my '02 yz 250F for about 6 months mow and i absolutely love it. now im looking for more power, and considering either a yz 450F, or yz 250. i trail ride and jump every once in a while. i've never owned or riden a 2 stroke. which one should i go w/? im on a very limited budget, including possible maintinence
