Seems my guy broke both his legs two weeks ago, found out yesterday following-up on the order. I suspect they'll be here during the coming week, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Here's the story from Racerhead:
"Also, a Get-Well-Soon to SoCal Racing’s Ron Joynt, who might be on crutches for the next 12 to 18 months after crashing in Austin, Texas, at the Shifter Kart Nationals. Joynt was going about 80 mph when the kart in front of him seized and locked up. He tried to avoid it but clipped the guy’s wheel and flew out of his kart and into a chain-link fence. He tore up his bones, his knees and his arteries in both legs. Ouch! "

All of the envelopes are addressed and ready to go the day they hit my door.

I'll be checking out the shifter karts at Portland this weekend, they are running as a support series for the CART race. Those guys are some brave individuals.
