1) 5ft 8in --- 175 lbs
2) Pretty Aggressive
3) Woods, trails, RR tracks
4) 02-05 ttr125, 04-current 400ex (ATV), 07-current Yamaha r6 :debil:
5) No racing
6) Will do all work
7) don't really like suzuki/kawasaki
8) any brands possible to get
9) price not really an issue, but cheaper the better of course (new bike most likely)
10) No California, Jersey
11) 19 y/o
12) I have been riding my friends KTM 250 EXC as much as possible, I don't really mind the power on that bike, it seems you can putt around on it more then i thought you could a 2 stroke... We ride in real hilly areas, so I enjoy the engine braking and enjoy the power characteristics of the 400ex... I will probably be putting about 50-75 hours a year on it, if that makes a difference...

Thanks for any help you guys can provide

sounds like you might like a XR 400 they will last forever and hold there value really good. but if you spend a lot of time on a MX track the XR will not be good.If you are buying new you might look at gettng a 250 four stroke.

I'm probably going to buy new, so how are the crf250x's and 450x's as far as low end grunt in the woods, I assume they have plenty of suspension to handle the occasional jump in the woods as well as playing around on some small tracks...

Thanks

I'd get the 450. I ride mine in the woods and its great. If you're worried about weight... just don't. My dads buddy rides a 650 and he smokes eveyone. And this is the tightest twistiest track you've ever seen.
