Where is Eddie's home base these days?

By the time of the ride at Wardy's, he and Aimee will be in the land of fruits and nuts.

Three weeks! I can hardly wait. I'm ready.

I'll be showing up Thursday evening. I'll have my 10 year old son Connor with me.

I hope to head down either Wed evening or Early Thurs morning. Eric only has Thursday off at work so he will be heading home alone after riding Thursday. Was he ever blown away when I told him I was staying without him :rotfl: . I think I'll be heading home either late Friday or early Sat

I'll probably be there Thursday night, camp out, ride Friday, and go home late Friday night (or really early Saturday morning). Can't be late to our wedding shower on Saturday ;)

Not sure if Red will be able to swing the day off, but Stacy (buko138) and Donny might come out.

Bruce - sounds like a group of us will be there on Thurs, Fri, and Sat... but I'm guessing Friday will be the biggest day for DRN turnout?

Man, it's gonna suck missing the Wardy's ride, good times for sure. I guess someone will have to pick up the chef duties ... fire up that giant skillet of breakfast burrito fixins ... I bet I could smell that deliciousness from out here!!

I guess me and Eddie managed to place ourselves just about as far apart and away from the midwest as possible. Kinda crazy how things change.

Hope you guys have a blast as usual. Have a beer and talk some sheep talk for me, will ya?

It's open to STM's, their friends and family. By all means, do bring them.

Bruce - if you stray from the small practice track, it's pretty hard packed. Even the track has some packed sections (it's nowhere near as sandy as Motoland or that other practice track we went to). An intermediate tire would be your best option. Hope you can make it out!

In case anyone needs them, below are directions to Wardy's. I've also linked his webpage HERE

Directions:

Take Interstate 80 to Route 23 (Ottawa). Then take route 23 North 4 miles til you get to Wedron Road. Then turn right and go east for another 2 miles til you get to the entrance on the right hand side of the road. We are located on the south side of the road and it’s a long lane. There is a sign at the entrance of the park. On the highway follow the TDS signs, (Tourist Directional Signs) they are State Blue in color signs.

Have fun everyone, I'll miss bringing the big grill and cooking up a storm. Someone needs to step up and be in charge of the fire. Damn I haven't laughed as hard (ever maybe) as the last time around the fire there. Sheep LMAO
