I am kinda confused I am looking for a new dirtbike and I dont know what to get. I live around feilds and a woods. I love to ride trails too. I dont know if I should get a kdx 200 or a xr 250???? I any one has any advice or opinions just write back..
I don't think you can find a bike that is more reliable or easier to ride than the XR250, if you pull the baffle out of the silencer and go up a size or 2 on the main jet the power is tollerable. The KDX200/220 is also a great bike, it is significantly zippier than the XR250 especially with some of the typical mods. I ride a KDX220 and my brother inlaw rides an XR250, he can hang with me in the woods and on the track but I blow him away when ever there is a straight stretch. You might also check out the KLX, it is also a great bike.
i would say a KDX200. i currently ride a kdx220, and their awesome bikes, no matter what you want. i sometimes ride my friends xr250, and this is merely MY opinion, but it lacks in everything. its a 96' i believe, and it can barely pull me up hills. the xr400 is a very nice bike, i still have one. id recommend the KDX above all.
Buy a KDX, hands down! I also rode the KLX before I bought my KDX and it was bad. No balls compared to a KDX and the KLX is a bitch to start cold. Just my opinion, not bashing anyone who rides the other bikes.
