My rear brake rotor is toast. I need a new one. Are the Tusk, Titax, EBC rotors a waste of money? What about those wave rotors from Braking or Galfer? I have read that the wave rotors are just eye candy and offer no real perfromance gain. What have ya'll used?

Anytime I replace a stock rotor, I lean toward a solid rotor. My pads seem to last longer, and dont fade as much in mud and water. I've never experienced any negative problems with these as compared to the stockers. I have had good luck with the Moose rotors, and have friends running the Gafler wave rotors. One of the companies even makes a fairly reasonable oversize kit for less than $200. The wave rotors may not provide any additional stopping power, but are said to help clean the mud out quicker, restoring the brakes sooner, and keeping the pads from wearing as fast.
