What MX 2-stroke is the most like a 4-stroke?

I have been trying to decide on what to get a 4 stroke or 2 stroke I am planning on doing alot more motocross racing.
I really would like a bike that is easy to ride and that I can lug around if I want with out losing too much speed so far I am thinking about getting the 04 YZ250F but I am unsure about the maintanence I have owned a CR 125, CR 250 and KDX200 and liked the easy maintanence but I think I would like the smooth usable power delivery of the 4-stroke. Is there any 2-stroke MXer the has the powerband of a 4-stroke?
