What oil for transmission?

Well i have a 2002 kx 125 and i was wondering what type of oil should be used in the transmission. I went to a local store and they said i could just use standard 10w 40. Is this fine? thanks. Also, what's the difference between car antifreeze and the special motorcyle radiator fluid? Could u use the car stuff in motorcycles?

what oil is best is like asking what toothpaste is best, so heres a few week worth of reading, it should answer all your questions. the search function is great for the easy ones. on the antifreeze, again mostly opinions ........mine, yes you can use the car stuff. do i? no, i fall for advertising once in awhile and use engine ice, whether its better, i think maybe, so why not give it to my baby :cool:
