Wheel question

The rim on my '86 KDX 200 has developed cracks radiating out from most of the spoke holes (bosses?). I can't find a rim listed anywhere for this bike, but I'm wondering if most any 1.60 x 21 rim w/36 spokes could be laced up?

Buchanon (sp?) will custom drill me one, but they're not cheap.
