If you guys go, do you bring your kids. My 12 year old rides, but just learning.

Depending on Soccer, I will bring my 12 year-old son.

If there's another ride at the existing Paragon, count me and Rooster in. We just keep saying how we wish we could ride there at least one more time.

When you guys went in April last year, did you camp or hotel? Hotel is easy for us with the enclosed trailer - we don't have to worry about our bikes or anything...

I would like very much to be a part of the paragon ride. I'm not sure if my dad and I can make it down there, but what are the trails like?

There is everything from sand to water/mud to nasty rocky stuff that you can't even walk through. There is something for every skill level and on group rides we try to stay out of the real bad stuff...not to say that we might "accidentally" wind up there from time to time

I hope you and your dad can make it!!!

the way things look right now, it looks like we can plan a spring ride at Paragon. They are only open Saturdays, and Sundays right now, but that may change as the weather gets warmer.

looks like we may have about 6 months of Paragon riding still at the current location.

So when we going, i need to ride :ride:

There are generally more quads on the trails than bikes at paragon. He would not be able to follow us on some of the trails we ride, but can still cover most of the park. And it also depends on the final decision of where the ride is.

YAHOO! Lets plan!

Rooster and I haven't made any plans for riding trips as of yet. The only weekend I know we DON'T have available is Friday the 11th through Sunday the 13th of May (his parents are coming to RI from NM)

If we can - I'd prefer to wait until the weather gets a bit warmer - say early June like we usually do? Plus I'm in school until the first week of May, then the semester's over and I'm done until September.

Thanks for the update Dan!

Let's stoot for June 8-10 or June 15-17. the 15 -17 date is Father's day weekend and the same week we rode last year.

BTW, I'm still in for an early April ride :)

I'd have to make an earlier ride than june due to the baby due anytime around those dates. A april ride sounds good to me too Dave. I just need a new chain/sprockets for the bike and i'm good to go.

Rooster and I are on vacation the week before from work for a couple of days, so that's out for us.

Why not Father's Day weekend?

I can't make it the last 2 weeks in May. I rent a house at the beach for 2 weeks every year for our anniversary and it wouldn’t go over very well if I said I’d rather ride  Besides, it’s one of the ways to get my brownie points.

I like Father’s Day weekend. It’s plenty warm by then for camping and it’s still technically Spring :)

As far as an April ride, the first weekend is Easter so maybe the last weekend in March or the 14th?

Maybe we should put up a poll?

I say maybe June 1-3? Or, what about Memorial Day weekend since it's a long weekend?

I'm now reminded why we have our Spring ride in the Summer.

I'll have to check the schedule(s) this evening. As a rule, earlier in the season is easier than later.

I guess I may not make it this year. Hopefully we'll have a good group in April.

Chuck's having a baby ? When did this happen, I'm amazed at the advancements in the Medical field and Men's rights. :)

On the other side, Congrats Chuck, your about to experience the best years of your life.
