Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a little advice. I'm 41, 5'8", 160lbs and just bought a 2000 CR 250 in sept to get back into MX after a 20 year lay off. I am amazed at the technology of the new bikes. My question is if I can get the YZF $500 less than the CRF does the difference make it a better bike or would the ergonomics and handling of the CRF be better for my size, coupled with my familiarity with the CR 250? Has there been any problem with the single oil source on the YZF? Any known reliability problems with Hondas' first attempt at the CRF? I've read most of what the Mags say, and that can be confusing at best. Any personal opinions, comments, salutations, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Tough choice there personally I feel that the only real advantage the CRF has over the YZF. Is the CRF wieghs less and might turn alittle sharper woopdie do. You'll love either bike Get what one you want. oh yea and the rumor at the track is the CRF is easier to re-start. Both bikes totally haul ass and are super sweet. Don't forget about KTM's killer 4 bangers also. What I'd may do is get the YZF for now save some cash and give the CRF a few years to get fined tuned some more and any bugs worked out of it. Either way, whatever bike you do get you'll love it.

Hey I was just over in eastern wa by royal city ridding on someone's private mx track. the track owner folded up his yz250f (aka no more subframe) off the triple jump. I'll post it up again when we go back over there it was a fun track minus the snow :)
