Hi guys, new to the forum, need help.
I just stacked my 92 kdx250 into a tree and i hit the very base of the bike on the frame on a large tree. the second impact occurred it started making a whirring noise coming from down by the clutch housing. i noticed it bent the little protection guard into the water pump. the bike didnt seem down on perfromance when i rode it back to the car. i pulled the water pump cover off and the housings for clutch and stuff on both sides and couldn't see anything wrong. the noise is exactly related to rpm. i am wondering if this sort of issue has ever occured to anyone else? or if anyone can think of what it could be. i figure i will just pull the whole engine out and take it to work and pull things apart in a clean environment, does anyone know of an online manual/guide for pulling it apart or if there are anythings in particular i should be aware of before embarking?
