winter storage for mx boots

Hello, i am looking for idea's on how to keep the leather on my mx boots from getting hard from winter storage. I have tried some leather conditioners and they don't seem to get the job done. looking for tips or ideas. I did try a search but got no results.

After cleaning thoroughly, rub in some good mink oil, then melt / impregnate the mink oil into the leather with a hot blow dryer. Repeat once or twice more during the winter. Ready and waterproof in the spring!

You can do what I do and wear them when you ride all winter.

thanks for all your replys but the bike stays in the garage for the winter as i ski all winter (6 ski hill all within a 1 1/2 hour drive). ah the joys of having the rocky moutains in your back yard.
