Yamaha TT600R ignition dies when wet !

Hey guys

I need a good advice... I have a TT600R from 99´ and it runs well in the engine, but when it rains or i cross streams ( even low ones ! ) my engine sets out ! My own guess is that it is something in the electrical system but i´m not sure what precisely or where.

Do any of you have likewise experiences and/or ideas to what can be done ?

yep its electrical - start tracing those lines and confirming the grounds are good.

Can't remember, is the TT600 a street model? If so, it may be the kickstand safety switch. Unplug and connect the two wires (on harness side) to bypass.
