I'm takin my bike for one last ride tonight, then plannin on puttin it up for the winter. What are some things that i should do. Should i drain the radiator, or can i put 50/50 antifreeze in it. I do want to sell it, it's on craigs list so i do want to have it ready to go if someone does want to ride it. I just don't want to have to worry about it if the temps drop before i sell it, or pull it out of the barn in the spring

Never drain the cooling system and let it sit all the aluminium oxidizes, if you're worried about it freezing I guess you'll have to put antifreeze in. Leave the fuel tank empty but don't drain the carby untill you pull it out of storage then you can flush a bit of fresh fuel through.

I disagree.. Do empty the floatbowl.. It's not a sealed chamber, so the gas you leave in it will evaporate out and leave a nasty mess.

Take the float bowl off, clean it good, and put it back together.
