yz 400 ignition

i am thinking about buying a 1976 yz 400 i saw but the only thing thats wrong with it is the ignition is out of it but i have a 1975 dt 250 ignition..would this ignition work and fit properly on a 1976 yz 400 :think:

It should but the power curve will be different.
