I'm looking for a trialer to haul my bike and my sons bike. There are several 4x8 trailers in the paper but are they large enough to haul two bikes (and gas, tools etc)? Thanks.

Yeah, it might be a little tight but not a problem! I have a 6x12 and have been amazed just how much I can get on it. Like Yam. 400 quad, 2-125's, 1-250, plus fuel, coolers gear.

4x8 will be fine. I welded an angle across the front to help push the tiedowns out a little. It makes securing the bike a little better.

That will vary by trailer. It has more to due with axle strength and tire size than just the dimensions of the trailer. The trailer should have a tag disclosing the GVW.
