87 kx 125 powervalves

i have a chance to buy a 1987 kx 125 for 250 dollars the guy swears all that is wrong is the Powervalves he said that it has new piston rings and upper bearing he said they are missing does any one have any info on this this is the first old 125 with kips is this gonna be a nightmare how much money he is talking about the upper valves says the lower one is in tact thanks guys

i have the same bike, 87 kx125, picked it up for my girl, its a sweet little bike. if all thats wrong with it is the PV i say go for it, hell for 250 bucks id say go for it unless its on fire when you go to buy it. BTW the valves are $53 a peice thu bike bandit
