A reminder, Everyone read please.

A lot of us have been here for a long time and feel pretty comfortable discussing a wide variety of things. We're all guilty however, of sometimes forgetting who reads our words and how they may react to it or the impression it may give.

I get accused of running a "censored" site often by the "free speech'ers" out there. This is a private forum, not paid for by tax dollars. It's our "club", we all agree to follow the guidelines set down in the agreement everyone signed-off on when joining. We all agree to act as if we are guests in someone's house.

DRN is a site for everyone to enjoy. From kids to grandmothers, all races, religions and political beliefs. It's our goal that everyone feels comfortable here. A little consideration for others is all it takes.

When a member posts, they need to do so as if they are speaking in mixed company; your mom, your girlfriend, you daughter/son, your friend's kids, people you don't know.... they're all here and reading your words. Don't post anything you wouldn't say in a group like that and it's all good.

I'm not trying to come-off as a prude (I assure you, I'm not, lol)... I'm not preaching, just a reminder that we want to project what's GOOD about our sport. There's enough going against us as it is.

i was told in an email from yardpro that people were laughing at me in that forum and he told me that the mods like to screw with me. whether this si true or not i could care less but i bet it does happen and it shouldnt.:mad:
he has sent me many harassing emails that i think you guys should see. i will not post them with out permission from okie other wise ill forward them privately.

sure ill post the one you sent me and you can post what ever you want. i only sent out to you and i know its not that bad so if you want to do this we sure can. :D BTW i replied to a thread about tire pens and this guy sends me hate mail dumping on my about my response which was to not spend the money on them and use it on something that is more valuable to the performance of the bike first. which btw is the exact response i when i asked this question when i first joined this sight under the name mx_racer56 (i believe thats it). I dont start things with people especially ones i dont know. One of my great friends Rick Mc Dowell will attest to that, i am the easiest person to get allong with, but when i get harassing emails to me from a guy that is old enough to be my father then i will respond in kind. A grown man that sends a 15 year old (at the time, october) harassing emails about how he and other people laugh at him behind his back, calling him names and making fun of his last name is just obsurd. He calls me immature in some of the many emails that i recieved and yet he is the one that keeps harassing me.

Okie i am very sorry for this but i have been really upset about this since it began. i dont have any enemies and i dont intend on having any. However, when i first brought this out a while back his "friends" insisted that he would never do that and that i had the wrong guy and whatever but i assure you that these emails are for real, they are straight from him and unedited. i dont want to post them because that goes against the conduct of the forums. i will send them to Okie and see what he says and go from there. BTW the only reason i am bringing this back up is because people that i showed these emails to insisted that i do so. i will not name names but they felt that they were innapropriate emails and insisted that i send them to Okie. I hope this doesnt cause any major problems. again, Okie i am sorry if this upsets you but it was very upsetting to me to read these emails, and i think that everyone should see them.:( :( :(
