Anybody went hunting this weekend...?

Hey Nathan, maybe I can come hunting with you and your dad down at y'alls new lease;) I need to get me a deer now since you got one:eek: I use my stainless-steel Ruger .260 when I go hunting. I used to use my 30-30 but i grew out of it:confused: Well if it wasn't for my being recovering from ACL surgery I'd go hunt but hopefully I won't have to wear that huge brace I'm wearing now when I go hunting.:)

Archery has been open since Sept 29th here in PA. I've hunted a good bit, seen a lot of deer, but no shot opportunities. Well, none that I would take anyway.

Rifle comes in Nov. 26th. I got the Browning A-Bolt .270 sighted in and ready to go.

Hey Nathan just delete some of your old dumb pics of you flexin' your so-called "muscles" and try putting the pic on then. Or you could try "photoisland" I think it's a place to put pics on.....Geez, the things I'd do to go ride right now...:(

I don't hunt but I have numerous hunters come through my place to hunt. They took 2 four points and something like a 5-2 (one side of his rack was broken :() off my side of the mountain last weekend.

Hunting fees are either sausage, jerky or some backstrap if they get one. My favorite hunters are the guys from Alaska that bring me fresh halibut & salmon. Quite the trade for letting them camp at the top of my place for a week. Then there's the remodeling guy that got a nice buck & put my new stairs in for us!

Theres this guy we take our deer to that takes the meat and turns it into jerky and instead of paying he just takes half of the meat or jerky.Works for us.:)
