Anyone ever use one? I bent the stock top triple clamp and Pro Taper adapters and need to replace them. I am definitely going with an aftermarket triple clamp designed to fit the Pro Tapers without adapters (never did like the feel of the adapters).

Any other recommendations on top triple clamps other than the Applied?

Muchas Gracias.

I bought Applied triple Clamps after I did the same thing to my 01 YZ250. I was not really impressed Applied, basically there the exact same as stock is far as im concerned. I plan on getting factory connection triple clamps with rubber mounts. They are more expensive but have heard they are really good and reduce bar vibration a bunch. I have a brand new triple clamp that will fit your bike (stock though).

Thanks for the info. They do seem to look a lot like the stock setup. I was just hoping to get away from the mounting kits that the stockers require. My buddy put the RG3 triple clamps on his bike last night and all I can say is "WOW". Wish they weren't so expensive.

The Applied top clamp moves the handlebar position further forward than stock (at least it did on my '00 KX), and the handlebar clamps are seperate pieces that can be run in reverse or forward positions to your liking.. As compared to the stock clamps on most bikes that have the handlebar clamps solidly placed on the triple clamp.
You can order it with taller bar clamps, too.
