Granted quad riders do have more "rider gear error" and have a group that cannot ride 2-wheelers but lets not generalize. Instead try and edify the riders when you can.
I bring old riding boots and other gear and give them to riders I see riding without. This site is so predudice against quads it makes me saddened.
Judging all in a group by individual experience is always wrong. If you are not trying to educate them you are part of the problem.

Sorry One Dollar, I personally do not think DRN members are anti quad but rather the members are PRO dirtbike. The anti sentiment comes from experiences on the track/trail and from the antics of individuals that joined this site and proceeded to bash dirtbikers. As you may recall, the words ATV and quad were autocensored for quite awhile. This was a direct result of a quad rider that insisted that DRN should have a quad forum. This thread would have likely been locked if the original question had not been clarified/qualified. In my original response, I stated that my opinions were biased as are many other replies here.
Like yourself, One Dollar, I see the other side of the coin, I just choose to flip the coin until it comes up dirtbikes.
