Very quick question:
Would Boyeson reeds work with my stock KDX 220s reed cage or do I have to buy the Boyeson reed cage as well?

Boysen sells reeds to fit your stock reed cage. They also sell there own rad valve wich uses different reeds.

Order Boyesan 607 power reeds and they fit your cage.

how would my stock cage fitted with the 607 reeds compare to the boyesen rad valve? i'm getting my bike ported and the tuner recommended the rad valve to be used along with his porting. so will the 607's perform the same as the rad valve?

No. Rad valve has the carbon fiber reeds in it. 607's are softer, but work good. You might want to try a V-Force II reed cage in it instead of the rad valve. Some folks say the rad valve aint' worth the money. The V-Force is. MX South sells the V-FOrce. I just put a V-Force in my Katoomer.

If you decide to go with the Delta Force make sure it's the new model. The Delta Force II, some have said the orginal DF does not work as well. I run the DF II in my kdx 220.
