Just got around to reading this thread. Sorry to hear about your injury Natalie, but glad to hear you don't need any surgery, pins or casts! Heal up quick!

Glad to hear you break was clean and requires nothing more than rest and some TLC for afew months. :thumb:

I'm trying to figure out how my life will go on without the use of my right arm for a while.

Man, i still have to say i'd rather an arm than a leg. Much easier to get around with 2 working legs. I'm sure neither one feels any better.

Good news, hope you heal up fast! I can't believe it was broken, you didn't act like you were in much pain on Sunday. I feel really bad now--I kinda assumed you were mostly ok! You should have taken like 5 naprosen.

When I tore my rotator cuff in 9th grade, I wore lots of button shirts and learned to do makeup, hair, brush my teeth, etc by bending my head down to my arm instead of raising my arm. It looks funny but oh well. Of course at that age I also got all the senior guys to carry my books for me, that doesn't work so well anymore.

You should tell that X-Ray tech that he's a tool. He was just jealous that you are more bad-ass than he. Take the nurse up on her offer. ;)

TJ, you really think arm injuries are better? I think that it's easier having both working arms, if you had to "pick" an injury. They all suck though.

Congrats Nat! I'd rather have a clean break any day over something like a torn ligament. As for the little stuff. Get a dorag. And go to the salon a lot. :thumb:

Well scooting across the floor on you butt does suck. Til the hard cast came off i couldnt stand having my body higher than my leg or it hurt like heck. The stairs and ice outside (winter had started) werent any fun. Getting into the car and not being able to fit your leg into the floor area was a problem. Also i'm not use to having to sit down to pee. So that took some getting use too then made me feel lazy not standing. But either injury has their down falls as to what you can and cant do.
