Just got back from Budd's and Bubba's charge in the second moto from last to first was just unreal! Early in the moto he was passing 2-3 riders at a time and his lap times were 4-5 seconds quicker than the next fastest rider. As he moved into the top 5 he just kept charging and jumping farther and cornering harder, never letting up. It was truly the fastest and most impressive charge to the front Ive ever seen!!!! oh! the track and weather was just perfect :thumb:

It's amazing seeing him in person, isn't it? He looks weightless on the bike, and just frenches it wherever he wants it to go. You never see him crossrut, or make 'standard' mistakes that typically slow people down. He hits SX triples going right to left off the face of the jump, almost as if he's going to jump off the side of the track, whips the ass over, lays it flat, and then directs the front of the bike down within inches of where it needs to land for the lowest arc and quickest placement of the front wheel down. He's elevating the sport to a new level, and we're all experiencing it first hand.

Seriously, though--think about it. His best lap time was a full second faster than the fastest 250. I think he'll just dominate in the 250 class, as soon as he gets there. And as good at MX as he is, his style is even better suited for SX (IMO).

I was there also....Simply unbelievable. I really don't know how to describe his speed. Watching him go over Doug Henry hill and almost drag the bars on the lip because he's whipping it so much....I'm still speechless..

Faster than RC, but not by a full second.  From the AMA page, Bubba's best race lap was 2:20.13.  RC did a 2:20.5 in the race and a 2:18.4 in practice.

Bubba is the heir apparent, no doubt.  But let's not dismiss RC just yet.  I can't wait to watch these two go head to head!

Awsome race.....The charge was unbelievable!!! As far as the first moto when he was just flat out spanking everyone(like last year) I liked it better when the track direction is the other way....UP big gulp, down henry hill.....

i hope bubba can stay healthy and not blow his career by trying to rip up every track and every race, i hope he stays in 125 again next year so we'll have someone that get in that class to cheer for and make the 125 as exciting as the 250 class. or maybe travis can do back to 125.

Dude! Have you not been watching the races? The 125 action has been awesome without Bubba. Now it will get very boring as Stewart wins every moto by a mile.
He's cherry picking if he stays another year in the 125 class, where he is really in a class by himself!
