Canon 20D or what?

Thanks again exactly the type of info I knew you would have.

We leave early in the morning for vacation so this isn't going anywhere in the near future anyways. I liked the feel of the 30D much better then the smaller XTi and could really tell the differance in the burst shots just playing with them in the shop. I was bothered that in a fulltime shop the guy working there didn't appear well versed in the products and I didn't feel comfortable with his answers.
When I get back in town I'll do a bit more searching

I stayed away from the Sigma 24-70 because it doesn't have the HSM motor and lucked out and got a steal of a deal on the Canon 24-70. Had the deal on the Canon not come along for me that Sigma would be my second lens.

Doug - I've been looking at that Sigma lens to fill in a gap rather than spending the $1400 for the Nikon 28-70. Have you had a chance to use the Sigma at all?

Rich, I have not although I know Squid borrowed one for a SX last year and had favourable results with it.
