Chain and masterlink.

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the O-Ring chain on the 2003 KDX220? Can I get any O-Ring masterlink and it will fit my chain or is it specific to the chain? On the Kawasaki site it just says O-Ring chain but no manufacturer.

any o-ring masterlink will work.

Ring chains can be of different sizes. Try to see if you can see the mfg name on the sideplate. Not to be argumentative, Kshaffer but not all o-ring master links will work. Some have larger pins than others. Some also have recessed plates for the rings.
It is probably a standard 520 o-ring chain, but you should try to stay within the same brand if possible.

It might be a DID. If you see that on the links then that's what it is.
