Well, Jimmy Dean, my dog tripped over the lap top when I set it in my floor. Now my task bar and IE explorer bar are screwed. I cant organize my IE bar. I can the menus up but can no longer drag and drop them in place where I like them, much less use them.

Screen shot of task bar settings: Click on image for larger size. If you view the larger image, it is set to keep it on top of all other items and locked in place. It still doesn't do it.

This is what the IE bar at the top looks like now. I can not get it organized properly in a useable fashion. I have had it messed up before but could pull one bar down and drag or drop the items in the places needed, I can no longer do that now. Sorry the screen shot isn't great in either one I am just learning how to do it. Some keystroke(s) must have occured I am thinking to have this happen as setting the preferred boxes and sizing and dragging dropping functions have ceased to work.

Problem solved. Jimmy Dean (the dog, y'all remember the dog?) somehow activated the fullscreen mode when he tripped over the computer. Had me doing backflips trying to figure out what happened. Anyway in fullscreen mode, I couldn't make toolbars and taskbars do what I wanted.

Again sorry for the trouble.

just for future ref.
locking the taskbar will disable the movement of items and the taskbar itself, also if you didnt find out, F11 is what makes IE fullscreen so that might explain why the dog could figure it out quicker then you did =]
