Contingency help

Ok I need some help here. I am tryingto figure out if my bike is eligable for contingency or not. It is a 2002 CR450F. My problem is that Honda states this on thier website "2001 and newer model year U.S. certified CR,CRF, XR models sold by authorized U.S. dealers are eligible."

Now my bike is from Canada, I know Honda requires the Vin number, does that tell them where the bike is from? is there a way around this? My buddy is also wondering this about his 03 KX250 he got in Canada?

The only thing I know about this is that yes, they can tell the bike is from Canada from the VIN.

And no you are not eligable for contigency money. Only bikes bought at US dealers.
