Hello! I am looking for an extended shock link AKA Dog bone for a 2000 CR250 and a 2003 KX250. We ride a lot of trails and need to lower our bikes an inch or so. Does anyone have any word on how well this works, Pros, cons? Thanks for the help! :blah:

This will work but it will also soften up the rear suspension too. You will need to re-set your sag and move your forks up in the tripple clamps a little. Just lowereing the back would not allow the bike to turn as quick but would make it more stable (less apt to head shake) at high speeds.

Might get better results from cutting the subframe and carving the seat. You'll sit lower on the bike, but the suspension geometry won't be affected.
