Yesterday was a great race. the trails were awesome. Ted made the entire race an houred out at the last check by just over a minute so good job Ted!

Mike Maurer was 'THE MAN" Sunday as he quickly disappeared from sight after safely getting us into the checks on time when 2 of the 3 coumpters had "issues" Mike scored "B HI POINT" so no dang wonder I couldn't keep up with him, no body could.

Cody Dusendang scored 1st in 200B
Father DW wins the crown until June and scored well in senior A class but I didn;t catch the standing.
LeRoy Keen won the overall and he was a minute behind me and went by me all day like a hurricane.
Smitdog was in Senior B class but I didn't catch his placing
Bryan Marsh came out of retirement to ride don's old beater in 250 A class and if I remember he was 3-4 in D 14 points for the class.
Father Don Marsh had some break problems that slowed him for the day and endedup 10th Super Senior.
Trasnrider rode well but they missed him on an OB check so he's checking into getting them to verify on the back up sheets, unfortunate for him.

45 riders missed check 10, fortunatly for us in our group only Ben Yelle a fast guy from da UP was the only one in our group so that ended his day in frustration.

Paul North was second in the "C" class and he passed me once early in that day ans was looking real good. He had a tough day and still did well. NEVER GIVE UP!
Team PTP had a good day with Mikes B hI point and they even had a 5th place trophy for me in the Super Senior class!

Sat night we had a feast with lots of great food, watched ":Time to Ride" and had a great weekend.

The weather was hot and sunny both days with temps near 80 all weekend.

The Kids run an Saturday went well and Zach Smith competed in it with Dad in tow.

see ya ll next weekend!

FAST Freddy had a great ride also, great to see eveyone. As far as the Sat.dinner another great job by Fred.

I decided that next year before Roselog I will be removing my rear brake and just riding with the front one. Last year I picked up a stick and put a hole in the rear brake line this year I break the pin that holds the rear brake lever on. Had lots of practice picking up the bike after crashing.

It was another great weekend with my dirt bikin' buddies. Riding is part of the experience, but there are many good times on Saturday and bench racing on Sunday.
A lot of hardware headed north out of Indiana. Congrats to all!!
I had a very good day. I did not realize how well I had done until Zach Smith added up my score. We had to do it a few times to confirm. I did get beat by a Super Senior rider.
I know as the season progresses the younger riders will have their time to have the glory, but Roselawn was a day where "OLD GUYS RULE!!!!!" Ain't that right DW??

DW...that picture is classic. Great ride!

Another highlight of the weekend was meeting Trash's girlfriend, Latesha. Great looking girl, but she did not talk much. I know we have some pictures of her. I hope she did not get sunburned on Sunday..

Thanks Fred, but I was also one of the 45 that missed Check 10. I knew something was wrong and seeing riders ahead over on the next ridge must have triggered the "lost" factor.

Sorry to hear that Ted but you did get to ride all of the enduro anyway, well except for that section where you did the "woodsy" thing before check 10 anyway!

Riding the flying brick almost forced me back into retirement. But it was still a fun race. Look for me next time on a real bike i just purchased a new YZ250 today. So heres to putting the brick back where i found it, collecting dust in the old mans garage.

The Brick has provided alot of enjoyment. She's old and wrinkled, but treat her well. Polish her knob before you put her away, she's earned it. Don't make the old man do it.

Those pictures reminded me...does anyone know the website of the outfit who was taking pictures at this event. I want to see the look on my face as I waited in line to ride/walk throught the house. I was spitting nails!!

I learned how to ghost ride my bike at none other than Marquette. It is a very effective technique for a variety of situations.

Ya that hill was a little technical because you really didn’t have a run at it…As you can see Trash & I found the right side of the hill to be the best line and Bling was never in jeopardy…lol
