The other day my wife was openly wondering about spending 10 hours a week on DRN. I explained it to her this way...
10 hours a week X 52 weeks a year= 520 hours
If I was riding my bike those hours I would be able to cover 23,400 miles (45 miles an hour).
My bike gets about 25 miles per gallon, this would have required 936 gallons of gasoline.
In California we pay about 45 cents of tax per gallon, this means I avoided $421 in taxes by being on DRN 10 hours a week.
I'm not sure she appreciated my reasoning!!!
