Hey all, got a question about the Fasstco bar inserts.

I just installed a set of those inserts in my CR, I started up the
bike and reved it sitting on the stand, and I couldnt tell that
much difference after I installed them.
I cleaned out the inside of the bar of all the dirt and grime, then I
lubed the insert w/ some ATF, I also installed the O-rings on the ends. The insert went in rather easily, and I tigtened the allen
screw snugly. Put the grips back on, and then started the bike.

I was watching the bars and the levers vibrate at the different RPMs, and I really cant tell that much difference.
To those people that have installed them, can you mostly tell
the difference on the track? and, is revving the bike on the
stand not the best way to tell?

It is way to wet to take the bike to the track, and it will be a few
days before I will get to ride.:(

Let me know if you have any opinions, thanks.

Your silly. You mean you just put them in, started the bike, revved it on the stand and were hoping to "see" less vibration? All the levers and everything will always vibrate. You have to ride and feel the difference. Definately test them on the track for a real evaluation.

bar inserts

Thanks for the info, yeah I revved the bike, and I could still "see" the levers
moving, but I was also feeling of the grips to see if I could tell the difference.
Hopefully it will be much improved on the track.

I installed some on my '00 CR250 a couple weeks ago and I can see the clutch lever vibrate LESS when revving the engine.
Go ride...you WILL feel the difference!
