Fitting RAD Valve to 91 KDX 250???

I am in the garage trying to install a RAD valve but the old rubber inlet pipe has a tube on top going into what looks like the old pump. The new RAD does not have a provision for this tube - is it needed? Can I just blank it off?

Anyone know what it does (I'm hoping its not the main oil feed?!?!

That is a bit different than what is in the states here. The rad valve is designed to work on the US (read NON - SR model) KDX250.

You will have to see what that tube is for.
