I just recently replaced my fork seals on my 2001 yz125 and got looking through the manuals... i always thought that the compression adjuster was on the top of the forks and the rebound was on the bottom. Turns out I was completely opposite of my answers according to my manual. Well my question is, if the top is rebound what does the "H" and "S" stand for? I thought it was compression and assumed the h and s stood for hard and soft. Now im lost! Someone help me out here please! Thanks a bunch!

Hi DesertGuy, it is the same as the compression.
H= Hard, mean slow down the rebound (clockwise),
S= Soft, mean quicken the rebound (counter-clockwise).

hope this help.:)

PODIA... thanks buddy that does help. I guess i never really related "hard" and "soft" to rebound. I would have thought they would use "fast" and "slow" Thanks though, i really appreciate it! Been buggin me all day!
