Hidden oil seals on the fork cap/compression unit.

How do You change the oil seals that seals to the shaft on the fork cap/compression unit on a Showa twin-tube?

To be more specific: The rubber seal that is located under the alumnium ring holding the teflonbushing and o-ring.

I know it can be done, but not if You ask your local dealer only supplying original Honda parts... They want You to buy the complete for cap for around 60$...

The seals can be changed by removing the stem from the unit. Place the stem in a shaft block and unthread it. From there just remove the piston unit. You will need to then remove the old oil seal.
