HTCDI Combined CDI and Coil weak spark

I have a brand new HTCDI from electrexworld. When the HTCDI is paired with my brand new RickStator coil (55 ohm) I don’t have any spark. If I use another stator coil that has 160 ohm I get a very weak spark at .028” gap. It seems like if I had a coil with around 400ohm I might see a usable spark. Has anyone used an HTCDI on a 83-88 KDX with a 60 ohm or less stator coil?

Your ohm measurement needs to between 250-370. My Ricky Stator has 380. Sounds like your stators are bad. They just are not generating enough juice.
I have several HTCDIs and they seem to work well.
