Thanks guys, I've gotten some info on the VMX-Ring chain and I'm opting to use that over the O-ring type. On the sprockets, it's still up in the air. I wonder what the damage would have been like if I had not been running aluminum. It may have been a plus that the sprocket did fold when I took the hit. If it didnt it could have cause further damage. What I did was blast off a tral in a qualifer for a club enduro and ended up taking a rock to the under side of the swing arm. When the bike came to a stop the sprocket was shot, the chain guide was up by the case, the chain was dog legged, and the welded guide (mount) brackets were missing.
Tough day, but it could have been worse. I could be the one needing the repairs and not the bike. I'm thankful for the outcome as strange as it may sound. Just need to get running before the next enduro though.
Thanks again for your help.
