6 or so months has gone by since my bud left (the thread :ugg:
C-Dawg will never be replaced and I won't expect it... but tomorrow, we're going after this:
:yeehaw:
Found an awesome breeder in Mustang, OK. I think we'll pass on the pick of the litter ($2500 :scream: ), the little guy in the pic is "pet quality" as breeders call 'em (and SUBSTANCIALLY less $, lol).
We don't get to get him tomorrow... the breeder won't let 'em go until they are atleast 8 weeks (and rightly so) but we will be putting down the deposit! They send pic updates every 2 weeks :)
Okie,
I'm not up on dogs, but is she doberman? Our puppy we got last Jan. to replace Max who we had to put to sleep a year ago Oct is 1/2 Doberman 1/2 Beagle. I know, it sounds weird but Cooper is a cute little dog. The mom was the Doberman, go figure! Driving home we were throwing out differnet names. My son saw a sign for Cooper Tires. Needless to say Cooper stuck
Great looking dog, Okie. That akc.org page said they think these things originate from ancient Rome. There's a lot of names we know from there. Just don't call him Nero or Caligula. ;)
Of course, that coming from a guy that tried to name our most recent dog dumb@$$. I've also had dogs named 'Pooper' (Australian Shephard), and Adolf (St. Bernard)--NOT named after Hitler. So yeah, I guess I don't have anything useful to contribute. :silly:
