Sat down with my 13 yr old son yesterday, removed engine cover, removed springs, and then...the NUT. Can this nut be loosened without a special tool ? Thing is The shaft turns independently of the basket for much of a revolution, and the rest of the basket cover turns independently of everything else. Any tips or hints ? Its a Kawasaki KX-80 R1 1991.

My friend youll be needing a motion pro cluch hub holder (it looks like a large vise grip with 90 degree fingers welded on ) You can get it at any bike shop . Or a Air or Electric impact gun will get it off , but to tighten it *correctly* you will need to hold it with the M/P tool and torque the nut to specs . GOOD LUK
